While in Kununurra we took the opportunity to take a flight over the Ord River Irrigation area and the Bungle Bungles. The countryside was amazing all the way, and the Bungle Bungles were the icing on the cake. On the way back we headed over the Argyle Diamond Mine and heard about the discovery of the diamonds and the subsequent saga that saw CRA end up with the mining lease at great cost to the original lease holder who had no idea there were untold riches on their land.
